Tolerances of Run-out and Perpendicularity
The method of supporting the ballscrew whilst measuring ensures that the values taken are free from the influence of the possible bending of the screw due to its weight. In general it is sufficient to support the screw between centers. For very long screws it is recommended to prevent against such influences by selecting a different method.
The values listed below represent general rules. For distinct applications, tolerances may vary.
