Mounting Tolerances

FAQ

Steinmeyer recommends that your adhere to the following mounting tolerances. Due to optimum parallelization of the ballscrew axis and the guideways, as well as the perpenticularity of the nut's mounting surface, is most important not to overload the ballnut.

After assembly, make sure that the ballscrew rotates freely, even with the nut in the closest position possible to the bearings. Any mis-alignment may lead to premature failure of the ballscrew.
