The nut is mounted with standard backlash → Usually used for rolled screw shafts and separate nuts on mounting sleeves

The nut is mounted with minimal backlash → Usually used for customized rolled ball screws

The nut is mounted without backlash (up to 2% of Cdyn) → Usually used for miniature ball screws and for heavy duty ball screws

The nut is mounted with light preload (without backlash to 3% of Cdyn) → Usually used for miniature ball screws with low friction and for vertically mounted ball screws

The nut is mounted with standard preload → Usually used for preloaded single nuts with a preload of 5-8% of Cdyn at horizontal axes, and with a preload of 3-5% of Cdyn at vertical axes

The nut ist mounted with high preload → Usually used for preloaded double nuts in horizontal axes with a preload of 8-10% of Cdyn
